Who We Are

At Toivoa Coaching, we are on a mission to close the gap in mental healthcare by building a skilled, compassionate, and diverse workforce. We train and certify health and wellness coaches with advanced skills in evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral techniques, trauma-informed care, and condition-specific support. Our integrated care model ensures that these professionals are ready to deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes for individuals who need it most—particularly people with disabilities, veterans, and active-duty military members.

A Trusted Partner for Systems of Care
We work hand-in-hand with payers, healthcare systems, and community organizations to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions that expand access to mental health support. Our programs are designed to integrate seamlessly with existing care pathways, improving patient engagement, adherence, and overall outcomes. By partnering with Toivoa, organizations gain access to a trained coaching workforce that complements clinical care, enhances member satisfaction, and meets the needs of populations historically underserved by traditional mental health services.

Driven by Purpose
Every coach we train represents a bridge between the care people need and the care they receive. Together with our partners in healthcare and insurance, we are transforming how mental health support is delivered—making it more accessible, affordable, and effective for every community we serve.

A Note from Our Founder & Board Chair

At Toivoa Coaching, our mission is deeply personal. I founded this organization with the vision of transforming how we address mental health—by expanding access, breaking down barriers, and empowering people to thrive. We are especially committed to serving individuals with disabilities, members of our military communities, and all those who too often struggle to find timely, compassionate care.

We believe that skilled, compassionate coaches can be a bridge between where someone is today and where they hope to be tomorrow. That is why we offer an NBHWC-accredited program built on rigorous training, evidence-based approaches, and integrated care models that work hand in hand with healthcare systems and payers. Through our partnership with Toivoa, many of our graduates step directly into meaningful roles, putting their training to work in communities where it is most needed.

What makes Toivoa Coaching special is not just the education we provide—it is the community we are building. Every life we touch reinforces our belief that change is possible. By creating sustainable career pathways for our graduates and increasing access to quality coaching for those in need, we are more than a program—we are a movement to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity. We invite you to join us in this work and help ensure that no one is left behind.
