What is the level of difficulty of the NBHWC Board Exam and what does Toivoa Coaching do to prepare students?
The NBHWC exam is a 4 hour, multiple-choice exam. It is broken into several different content areas whose weight shifts from each exam. Toivoa Coaching does a lot to help you be prepared such as hosting live Q & A sessions during the Eamm Prep Phase of the program, providing test questions and practice, and encouraging check-ins over email to answer any questions you may have about exam content.
Once I pass the NBHWC exam and become board certified, how long is my certification good for?
NBHWC certification is valid for a period of three years. To maintain certification, coaches are required to complete 36 hours of continuing education—such as those offered through Toivoa Coaching—within that time frame, and pay an annual maintenance fee of $75.
